BOOKING and PAYMENT
Payment of 50% of the quoted cost is required to confirm the reservation and the outstanding balance 2 weeks prior to arrival.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
By direct electronic funds transfer (EFT) through your bank. We will provide our account details at the time of booking. For international guests, we will email you an international funds transfer form to take to your local bank. They will then process the transfer to us which usually takes about 3-5 days.
We also accept Credit Card Payments which will incurr a 2.5% surcharge.
A Security Deposit is required for the same reason Hotels and Resorts take a security deposit from your credit card on arrival. We do this to cover any breaches of the terms and conditions including additional cleaning, breakages, losses and damage. The deposit varies with length of stay and will be returned within 3-5 days by EFT.
CHECKING IN and OUT
Check in time is 2.00pm. Call or email us before your arrival to organize the key collection.
Check out time is 10.00am. Late departure may incur a cost penalty.
We will do our best to accommodate arrivals and departures outside of these times.
We would appreciate as much notice as possible if you find that you need to change your booking plans. As a small business every booking is very important to us and our bottom line. While your booking is locked in and blocked on our internet calendar, we have no access to inquiries from other interested guests.
Therefore, we will endeavor to fill the dates which we have locked for your current request. If we can refill your booked dates, we will happily refund your deposit, minus a $50 admin charge. If we are however, unable to fill your booked dates, we will not be able to refund your deposit.
While the owners make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked, the owners do reserve the right to alter or cancel any booking due to unforseen circumstances. In tihis case a full refund will be made.
At least 1 adult over the age of 25 must be staying in the apartment. Photo ID may be required at check in. If no ID is produced on request, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and are under no obligation to refund the booking if this condition is not met.
Please take a moment when you arrive to read the emergency procedures in the Apartment information folder and on the door.
We also require the following information for safety reasons;
- Your full name and address
- The number of people staying on the property
- A Contact phone number and email address
- If you have a car, the registration is also requested
DAMAGES, BREAKAGES, THEFT & LOSS
The person(s) registering as the guest(s) shall be liable for any loss or damage, breakage or loss of furniture, furnishings, equipment, appliances, locks or keys and must be reported immediately and paid for at cost, other than acceptable wear and tear. Please note, that our cleaners do a detailed check both before and after your occupation.
Theft and Loss to or from the property or its contents are your responsibility and liability during your stay and must be reported immediately to us. Without prejudice to any other remedies available, the total cost of making good any such damage, breakage, theft or loss will be payable by you. If necessary you will be liable for any excess which may be deducted from the Security Bond. If loss or damage is greater than the security bond, guests will be obligated to cover the additional cost.
PLEASE TAKE A NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING
We aim to provide our guests with a high standard of accommodation, and therefore rely on the following conditions being met during your stay
- The property is for private use and not for commercial purposes
- The property is not to be used for private parties or functions
- The property is not to be used for any illegal purposes
- Only the number of people stated in the inquiry will be accommodated.
- Smoking is not permitted on the property
- Sorry, Pets are not permitted on the property
- Access to the property may be required for maintenance or repairs
- Please remove all rubbish via the rubbish chute outside the apartment when you leave
- Unreasonable or excessive noise is not acceptable at any time
The owners of this apartment accept no responsibility or liability for personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects of guests. Guests should ensure they have adequate insurances to cover their personal belongings.
